Download and set up a Keplr wallet
In order to stake ATOM you will need a Cosmos wallet. For this tutorial we are going to use Keplr which is the most used wallet and safest that exists for Cosmos.
To do this you have to download and install the Keplr wallet from this link.
In case you do not have any ATOM in your wallet, the next necessary step is top up your wallet with some ATOM tokens to be able to stake.
To do this you have to click on the extension, select the Cosmos network and copy the address of your wallet that the wallet shows you. That address will be where you will have to send the ATOMs in order to continue with the staking process.
In case you do not have ATOMs in other wallets or platforms, you will have to buy the ATOMs that you want to stake through some exchange. If you want a list of places where you can buy ATOM reliably, you can enter the ATOM markets section in Coingecko by clicking here.
Once you have the ATOMs in your wallet you can proceed to the next step.
Select our validator to delegate your ATOMs
Enter the Cosmos website on Keplr and select the Staking tab. There you will see the text “All Cosmos Hub Validators” and below the list of all available validators.
Write in the search field "DragonStake" and give the search button to locate the validator that we have available in collaboration with Dragon Stake, our technological partner.
Click on the button Manage located on the right side and a tab will open where you will be shown all the information about our node, as well as the commission that will be charged from your rewards for staking.
Click on the button Delegate andIndicate the amount of ATOM you want to delegate in our validator. In case you want to delegate all your ATOMs you can click directly on the text MAX
Click on the Delegate button again and wait for the Keplr wallet to open to confirm the operation there.

How to get the most out of ATOM staking?
To activate restaking you must click on the button that appears in the REStake column
Since the amount of ATOM rewards generated by staking depends directly on the amount of ATOM you have staked, it is always interesting have as many ATOMs as possible in stake.
For this you have to recover your rewards periodicallyand redelegate them so that your investment grows exponentially instead of linearly.

For this you just have to enter the REStake website, connect your Keplr Wallet by clicking on the upper right button, go to the “My delegations” tab and click on the button that allows you to restake.

What is Cosmos staking?
When you decide to stake Cosmos, what you are doing is delegate the ATOMs of your wallet to a validator, which will be one of the nodes in charge of approving and validating transactions within the Cosmos chain. The more ATOMs a validator has delegated, the more transactions they can approve and validate, allowing them to accumulate rewards for that work. The validator subsequently will proportionally transfer said earnings in the form of ATOM to the users who have delegated to it, less a small commission that the validator keeps in order to maintain his service.
What is the delegation commission CafeconCriptos?
CafeconCriptos has set a commission of 9% of the rewards in their validators for Cosmos in order to maintain the service in the long term.
What is the minimum number of ATOMs I can delegate?
The minimum amount you can delegate per validator is 0,05 ATOM
When will I receive my staking rewards?
You will receive the rewardswhenever you decide to claim them (claim) through the staking platform. In case of using the REStake service, said rewards will be claimed automatically every 12 hours.
How can I cancel my staking?
The process to cancel your staking is very simple. Its name is unbounding and you can do it directly from the staking platform, selecting the validator to which you want to withdraw part of the delegated ATOM.
How long does it take from when I cancel my ATOM staking to when I have the ATOMs freely?
El unbounding period in Cosmos is 21 days. After that period you will be able to have the ATOMs in your wallet in the normal way to transfer them, re-stake, etc.
Does staking have risks?
Staking is considered one of the safest operations in the crypto world, but it is not completely risk free.
